- This interview summary was conducted in Manga on May 01, 2021 with a member of the Kolgweogo committee, a self-defense group in the commune of Manga. During this interview, the participants discussed the typology of misconduct, as well as its management for both modern justice actors and traditional judicial bodies. The interview also looked at the perception of punishment as a function of gender and social class, the meaning of mediation and collaboration between traditional and modern institutions in the management of offences.

- This interview looks at the various forms of circulation of knowledge and models of punishment of adolescents/youth in pre- and post-colonial societies. The circulation of these forms of knowledge and models of punishment are often relayed by contemporary legal institutions such as gendarmeries, police forces and courthouses in Burkina Faso.
