Discussions focused on types of offenses, mechanisms for dealing with offenses committed, popular perception of forms of punishment for wrongdoers, popular perception of prison as a form of punishment, and collaboration between traditional and modern justice.

- This interview looks at the various forms of circulation of knowledge and models of punishment of adolescents/youth in pre- and post-colonial societies. The circulation of these forms of knowledge and models of punishment are often relayed by contemporary legal institutions such as gendarmeries, police forces and courthouses in Burkina Faso.
